About

Mr. Mannino has nearly 45 years of business experience and over 35 years of asset-based lending experience. In 1981, he founded Century Financial Services. The company specialized in all phases of commercial lending, ranging from agriculture loans to farmers, to financing of jet aircraft for passenger and cargo air carriers. In 1985, he was featured in the NY Times arranging capital for a struggling passenger airline. (view article) Mr. Mannino structured asset-backed commercial paper with Wall Street investors and syndicated over $200M in commercial aircraft and business jet leases and $100M for municipal equipment and vehicles leases. He developed loan and credit enhancement programs for GE Capital, ITT Commercial Finance, United Companies and other non-depository financial institutions. Mr. Mannino was the Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Financial Services Association for 12 years and served on the Board of Directors since 1988 and remains Director Emeritus. He was a registered lobbyist for the financial services and mortgage industry; he is still closely associated with top officials at department of banking and other governmental agencies and maintains many friends in the House, Congress, and Senate at State and Federal levels. In 1997, Mr. Mannino co-founded the National Charities Benefit Foundation, Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit all-volunteer organization which continues to provide funding to local and national charities through the sale of in-kind donations. He is a life-long resident of State College, PA. Mr., Mannino serves on many volunteer boards and served as a two term president of the State College High School Alumni Association. In 1977 he was president of the State College Area Jaycees and director of the Nittany Sunrise Kiwanis Club. He has been an active member the Chamber of Business and Industry since 1972. Sam is also an advisory board member of the State College Salvation Army.
